Revenge and robbery appear to have been the motive behind Sunday's double homicide at Pizza Hut in Terrell, according Richard Peavy of Terrell Police Service, which on Friday arrested Anthony Jerrell Holliman, 19, and Bianca Newman, age unknown, on capital murder.

TPS also issued capital murder warrants for two other suspects - Justin Dean Prox, 19 and Darius Dewayne Hubbard. 20.

“There was information we received that indicated one of the former employees was terminated and angry at the manager for terminating them,” the TPS officer said. “One [suspect] that we have arrested was an employee as a cook there. All of the suspects are connected to the restaurant. We have one that is a former employee and two others that were current employees.”

Peavy said the suspects entered the business in the late night hours, immediately shooting and robbing the victims - Patricia Oferosky, 40, and Stephen Mitchelltree, 47 - of $1,500 before unsuccessfully trying to set the restaurant on fire, explaining why TPS was seeking information regarding the purchase of a 1-gallon plastic jug of Sparkletts Water or someone making a 1-gallon plastic jug or smaller purchase of gas.

TPS also received information from two merchants - Riverside beer barn in Terrell and a bank in Van - that money had been recovered that appeared to have fresh blood on it, according to Peavy.

He also said the local bank in Van notified local police Friday morning that it received a $100 bill with blood on it.

“One of the bills has given us additional probable cause and we are going to have to send it to the lab,” Peavy said.

Peavy believes the other suspects are still in the area.

Arraignment details weren't available at deadline.
