LILLIE MARIE HOLLINESS
Lillie Marie Holliness, Terrell native, Dallas resident, departed this life, June 26 in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at New Hope Baptist Church in Terrell with Pastor E. C. Wilson, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday also at New Hope. Interment will be at New Oakwood Cemetery. Services under the direction of Thomas & Sons Funeral Home in Kaufman.
Lillie Marie Holliness was born April 12, 1958 in Terrell. She was the daughter of Robert G. Holliness and Mary H. Washington. Lillie united with New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. She attended the public schools of Terrell and graduated from Roosevelt High School, Dallas in 1976 with honors. She continued her education at Prairie View College, Rolfe’s Beauty School and El Centro College.
She was employed at Baylor Senior Health Center for 10 years.
Lillie will be missed and her precious memories cherished by her father, Robert G. Holliness; mother, Mary H. Washington; daughter, KyQuana Holliness; brother, Robert K. Holliness (Marie) and Calbert Holliness; grand children; Sir’Christopher, Una, and Unyelle Holliness; special children and grandchildren, Kemba Green, Warren Daniels III, Kemberly, Kawayne and Delenzia; a special aunt, Emma Washington and a host of other relatives and friends.
