DAVID M. LANE
David M. Lane, of Terrell, passed away on Aug. 15, 2008 in Terrell, Texas. He was born on Dec. 16, 1945 in Kaufman County, Texas. David was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Belcher; brother, Charles L. Lane; grandmother, Beulah David Vicars and nephew, James Roath.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry Lane of Calif., Nathan Lane and wife Amanda of Terrell; grandsons, Jarrod Lane, Michael and Gabriel; mother, Helen Belcher of Terrell; sister, Arnecia McKay of Amarillo; brother, John Belcher and wife Laurie of Amarillo; nephew and niece, Charles Milan, Christie Marshall; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
David was a well respected man. His sons and grandsons were his life, he was loved by everyone who knew him. David achieved more than his limitations allowed.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with Pastor Lonnie Harris and Dennis Hogan officiating. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn Street; Dallas, Texas 75219.
