Local doctor moves hospital services to Kaufman
Dr. Reba Williams-White, a Terrell obstetrician and gynecologist, has moved her hospital services to Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman. Williams-White said the move was prompted by the recent closure of the labor and delivery department at Renaissance Hospital in Terrell where she has practiced for the last six years.
Presbyterian Hospital will host an open house welcoming Dr. White from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Aug. 27 in the Community Room, located on the first floor of the hospital.
The hospital will host free childbirth classes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Aug. 30, Sept. 27, Oct. 25, Nov. 29 and Dec. 27. Expectant parents can enroll by calling 972-932-7200, ext. 7361.
White is continuing to see patients in the Terrell office she shares with pediatrician, Dr. R.P. Vasani. The office is located at 1553 SH 34 S., Suite 600.
White said she is encouraging all her patients who require hospital admission for ob/gyn issues or labor and delivery services to come to Presbyterian Hospital, located at 850 Hwy 243 W. in Kaufman.
