PAMELA JEAN GLASSCOCK
Pamela Jean Glasscock, of Terrell, passed away peacefully Oct. 1, 2008 at her home.
Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 in the funeral home chapel with Oden Lathen and Pastor Jeff Foster officiating. Her burial will follow the service in the Oakland Memorial Park Cemetery in Terrell. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glasscock was born on Sept. 23, 1943 in Jefferson, the daughter of Morris and Mary (Shelton) Fitzsimmons. She married Bill Glasscock on March 4, 1967 in Longview and they have lived in Terrell since then. She was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother devoted to her family. She was an administrative assistant for Baylor University Medical Center at Garland. She was a member of the Terrell First Christian Church.
The family members still living are as follows: her husband, Bill Glasscock of Terrell; son, Kyle Glasscock and his wife Anne of Kaufman; daughter, Stefanie Glasscock of Terrell; two brothers, Gary Fitzsimmons of Dianna and Greg Fitzsimmons and his wife Rita of Raymore, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Marti and Isabel Glasscock of Kaufman.
Her pallbearers will be J.W. and Ann Barrow, Mackey and Billie Sue Squires, Bobby and Nancy Clower, R.B. and Leigh Pool, Bill and Kathy Cook, and Bob and Pat Hopper.
