OMS No. 31 hosts shop closing party
The State of Texas National Guard Organization Maintenance Shop on Airport Road, or OMS No. 31 as it’s referred to by many, is closing its doors forever.
Troops stationed there are moving out of town, but before they leave their home of nearly 60 years, they’re hosting a farewell party. Veterans, retirees, friends and ‘old timers’ are invited to attend a reunion and luncheon, beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7.
Guests should bring with them old photos and stories to share during the morning reunion. Lunch is $10 per plate and will be served at noon.
RSVP by Nov. 4 to CW4 Rick Tanner or WOC Russell Stone, 972-563-9542.
