Lighted drive through park ends Sunday
Terrell Chamber of Commerce/CVB Tourism Director Sarah Kegerreis is encouraging local residents to take advantage of the Lighted Drive Through the Park which concludes on Sunday.
“We want everyone who has not been through the drive to come out and see all the displays and visit with Santa,” Kegerreis said.
The cost of admission for the drive is $5 per car load.
“We are hoping most residents will be able to drive through the park on Friday or Saturday in case we have to cancel the drive on Sunday due to a forecast of potentially severe weather,” Kegerreis said.
Visitors to the Ben Gill Park display should enter from Moore Avenue, between the Chamber offices and Brookshire’s.
Santa Claus will greet visitors and listen to wishes from children as they exit the park onto 9th Street.
Visitors also will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite display.
The drive is open from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
