Terrell Mayor Rick Carmona on Tuesday issued a proclamation declaring Friday, April 10 as a COVID-19 Prayer Day.

The proclamation urges Terrell residents to “humbly implore God for wisdom and understanding, for His help and protection, for a swift end to the spread of the virus, and for a rapid recovery.”

In the same proclamation, Carmona established Saturday, April 11 as Psalm 91 Reflection Day during which Terrell residents are called upon to read, meditate, and act on this Scripture.

Easter Sunday, April 12, is established as Remote Worship Day during which residents are encouraged to participate in one of the many online religious services available in Terrell.
