The Terrell Independent School District updated its dress code for its 2019-20 school year.

All dress code changes apply to every Terrell ISD campus except to the Global Leadership Academy.

The official guidelines for these changes will be outlines in the Student Handbook and the Terrell ISD school board of trustees give authority to campus principals to strengthen the basic Student Dress Code as necessary.

All Terrell ISD students will be required to wear an identification badge.

Neatly trimmed male facial hair is allowed as long as the length does not exceed a #3 barber’s trimmed guard.

Tattoos may be visible as long as they are not deemed inappropriate, offensive, obscene or cause racial discord.

Male students may wear ear studs, but may not wear any earrings that hangs down from the ear lobe.

Jeans may be worn on any day of the week. A dress code top must be worn except on spirit or college days. Skin showing through any design or cut-out is not allowed.
