The Terrell High School boys and girls cross country team competed at the South Hills Prowl in the Park at Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook on Friday, Sept. 20.

The Terrell boys cross country team placed fifth out of the 20 teams that competed. The Terrell girls cross-country team placed sixth out of the 12 teams that competed.

Terrell sophomore Crispen Muambila finished third with a time of 18:35. Terrell senior Luis Torres finished fourth with a time of 18:36.

Terrell freshman Damon Barker placed 32nd with a time of 19:43. Michael Torres finished 57th with a time of 20:13. Junior Alli Primero placed 58th with a time of 20:14. Senior Gabriel Romero placed 73rd with a time of 20:42. Junior Manuel Acuna placed 85th with a time of 20:52. Senior Eric Campos placed 86th with a time of 20:53. Terrell sophomore Ronaldo Romero placed 114th with a time of 21:44. Senior Daniel Ibarra placed 199th with a time of 25:45.

On the girls side, Terrell senior Genesis Nunez placed 16th with a time of 23:26. Terrell senior Audi Vargas placed 18th with a time of 23:20. Terrell senior Briana Sosa placed 26th with a time of 24:16. Terrell senior Hazel Vargas finished 42nd with a time of 25:02. Shelbie Stephens finished 71st with a time of 26:41. Leslie Romero placed 82nd with a time of 28:23. 

The Terrell girls cross-country team averaged 24:35 on its run times. The Terrell boys cross-country team averaged 19:28 on its run time.
