On Tuesday June 4, Terrell Police Narcotics Investigators and the Terrell and Forney SWAT teams executed a "no knock" search warrant on an apartment at the Parkview Apartments.
Officers detained Aspen Ray Mooring-Whitworth, Sadie Stephens and Megan Sims. The primary suspect Darroch Clippard, was not at the residence at this time but was located near by trying to avoid police. Clippard was arrested for Unlawful Carrying a Weapon.
“Thirteen firearms were located, one of which showed to be stolen as well as a ballistic vest. A lock box containing methamphetamine, powder cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia were also found inside the apartment,” Terrell Police Department Corporal Zach Boyd said.
Once at Police Headquarters the narcotics were weighed and field-tested showing the marijuana at 18.2 grams, methamphetamine at 7.7 grams and powder cocaine at 3 grams. All of the suspects are being charged with possession of marijuana less than two ounces. Clippard is also being charged with managing/delivering a controlled substance less than 200 grams and more than four grams and managing/delivering a controlled substance less than four grams and more than one gram.
