The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Kaufman County stands at 16 as of 4:30 Monday afternoon, according to the office of County Judge Hal Richards.

Eleven of the cases are from the Forney area, two are from Scurry, one is from Terrell, one is from Crandall and one is from the Wills Point area, according to the most recent update.

Remember, the county's shelter-in-place order remains in effect.
