The Terrell City Council approved an agreement for Professional Services for the Market Center Lift Station.

The City of Terrell has negotiated a scope of services and fee with Freese & Nichols, Inc. in the amount of $68,300.00 to complete a Preliminary Engineering Review for the upgrade of the Market Center Lift Station.

Current analysis indicates the lift station does not have capacity to serve future development in the Crossroads area. The Preliminary Engineering Review will provide analysis for proper sizing of the lift station and force main, review alignment alternatives for a new force main, and complete flow monitoring of the downstream gravity main to determine available capacity. This work will determine the scope of services for final design.

This project is included in the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) funded projects and will be funded through the Revenue Certificates Of Obligation, Series 2019A.
