The Terrell Police Department will offer three more license to carry handgun classes for 2019.
The cost is $50 per person.
The next class will be on Aug. 24 and the last two classes will be on Oct. 26 at Dec. 14. The new license classes run from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The license to carry handgun application can be obtained from the Department of Public Safety. Click on the link then select “apply” on the bottom of the page.
To take the class, each student must supply a handgun, you must supply 50 rounds of factors ammunition for the handgun, you must supply eye and hearing protection, bring a black pen, dress appropriately for the weather because the range is outdoors.
People may complete the following before or after taking the class but the process must be completed in the following order. 1. The cost of the class is $50 cash due at the time of class and pay only in cash.
