Terrell Independent School District teachers, librarians and registered nurses will receive a beginning salary of $53,000, according to the Terrell ISD 2019-20 compensation plan.

This is a four percent average pay increase for teachers, librarians, registered nurses, a three percent pay increase will be for administrators and four percent average pay increase for all other staff.

Terrell ISD is also incorporating a retirement matching plan. Staff who have been with the district three to five years can receive a one percent match, six to 20 years can receive a two percent match and 21 plus years can receive a three percent match which will be 100% vested.

For teachers only, Terrell ISD has committed to annual stipends of $2,000 for a Master Degree and $3,000 for a Doctorate Degree.

All employees who elect health coverage are active contributing TRS members participating in the TRS-ActiveCare health insurance program will receive a $300 district/state monthly contribution.

All employees are eligible for district paid life insurance in the amount of $10,000 for Group Life Insurance.

Sick Leave Pool and Local Leave will remain the same.
