Wilbur Rollins was born December 15, 1944 in Terrell, Texas.  He married Elizabeth Thompson on March 6, 1965 and served in the US Air Force from 1965-1969. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1981 and returned to Texas in 1997.  His health began to decline significantly in 2016. Through his health struggles, he persevered and beat the odds, time and time again. He fell asleep in death on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Wilbur was raised in Terrell under the guidance of his grandmother, Ludie Crawford and mother, Katie Crawford. He was a loving, sensitive, and energetic child who played baseball with the Burnett Wildcats. He attended Burnett High School and was active in sports as quarterback and captain of the Burnett Tigers and co-captain of the track team. He participated in Burnett High School band playing an E flat horn. After high school, he attended Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas.

Wilbur had a huge heart and loved people. He loved his family and lived and breathed each moment for them. In his final years, he had begun to develop dementia. However, his wish was that all his family would learn what he learned about the future under God’s Kingdom rule.
