Charlotte Jean Crouch Ward, 85, formerly of Greenville, TX, passed away June 23, 2019 in Collierville, TN. She was born in Elmo, TX, the fourth child of Thadius Vane Crouch and Trudie Vernon Causbie. A graduate of Terrell High School, Charlotte attended Mary-Hardin Baylor College.
Charlotte was a Wage and Salary Analyst in Employee Relations at E-Systems from 1961 (then known as TEMCO) until retirement in 1993. Charlotte was honored as E-Teamer of the year in 1987 by E-Systems Inc.
An accomplished seamstress, Charlotte was awarded First Prize at the 1994 Hunt County Fair for her cross-stitch sampler of the United States of America. Charlotte volunteered with Greenville Schools, served as a Cub Scout Den Mother, and volunteered as an election poll worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Ward. She is survived by her son Brian Ward (Joanne) of Piperton, TN; daughter Yolanda Jacobs (Dr. Edwin) of Encino, CA; three grandchildren, Martha Sumner (Robert); Rowan Jacobs; Grace Ward; one great grandson Samuel Sumner; and brothers James Crouch of Terrell, TX and Taylor Crouch of Fort Worth, TX.
Services will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, TX with Mr. Keith Crouch officiating. Internment will be at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Keith Crouch, Paul Crouch, Ron Crouch, Glenn Crouch, David Crouch and Robert Sumner. Honorary pallbearers will be James Crouch, Taylor Crouch, Dr. Edwin Jacobs, Bruce Crouch, Richard Thorn, Rick Pitkin, Dick Grice and David Grice. Memorial donations may be sent to the National Parkinson Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, or a charity of the giver’s choice.
