The Terrell High School varsity volleyball team lost 3-2 to West Mesquite High School on Sept. 13 and lost 3-0 to Kaufman High School on Sept. 17.

Terrell is 9-19 overall and 0-2 in district.

Against West Mesquite, West Mesquite won the first two sets 25-18 and 25-18. Terrell won the third and fourth sets with a score 25-20 and 25-12. West Mesquite won the fifth set with a score of 15-9.

Terrell senior Chloe Turner led the team in kills with 13 while Terrell freshman Karyssa Breunig had 13 kills. Terrell sophomore Katrina White had seven kills.

Terrell sophomore Kimber Ellis led the team in serving aces with six. Breunig had four serving aces.

Terrell senior Shernecia Jackson had 33 digs while Breunig had 22 digs and Turner had 16 digs.

Ellis had 28 assists to lead the team. Terrell freshman Haven Burnes had 16 assists.
