The all-district team for District 12-Class 4A-Region II was released this week and Terrell had four players recognized. 

Senior Kenneth Love and sophomore Jaqwondis Burns were each named to first team all-district. Junior Kenzzell Pipkins and junior Khars Montgomery were named to second team all-district. 

The Terrell basketball team finished its season with a 9-3 district record and 13-17 overall record. 

The district’s most valuable player was Crandall senior Virgil Myers. The district’s offensive player of the year was Kaufman junior Trey Collier. The district’s defensive player of the year was Crandall junior Doneric Rivers. The district’s newcomer of the year was Caddo Mills freshman Tyler Townley. Stan Short of Crandall and Matt McLaughlin of Kaufman were the coaches of the year.

Second team all-district: Evan Konopka, Quinlan Ford, senior; Khars Montgomery, Terrell, junior; Kenzzell Pipkins, Terrell, junior; Savion Neal, Caddo Mills, freshman; Colton Stringer, Caddo Mills, senior; Zak Curry, Community, senior, Colten Joyner, Crandall, junior; Raymond Gonzales, Ferris, senior; Jamar McCray, Kaufman, Sophomore; Dylan Gunter, Kaufman, junior.
