The Terrell High School boys and girls cross country team competed in the James Smith Invitational at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian on Thursday, Sept. 5.

The Terrell boys cross country team placed 7th out of 24 teams competing. The Terrell girls cross country team placed sixth out of 15 teams competing.

“Luis and Audi both ran a really good race for the first time out,” Joe Stephens, Terrell High School cross-country coach, said. “Luis is trying to get his form back after an injury plagued year last year.  He is off to a great start. Audi really did a nice job keeping her pace and finished strong. Hazel Vargas and Crispen Muambila finished outside the top ten but they both medaled also. The first 20 in each race medaled. The team finishes is a good start to the season.”
