The Terrell High School varsity boys basketball team lost 50-32 to Carrollton Ranchview on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Terrell High School.

Terrell’s overall record is 5-8. Terrell will play its last non-district game of the season against Ennis on Dec. 14 at Ennis High School. Terrell’s first district game will be on Dec. 18 against Forney at Terrell High School.

Terrell senior Khars Montgomery and Terrell junior Je’Kovian Prince led the team in scoring by each scoring seven points.

Terrell junior Jaqwondis Burns and Terrell senior Odarius Williams were right behind them as they each had six points.

Carrollton Ranchview had three players score in double figures. Chris Colton scored 12 points, Kevion Collins scored 11 points and Jacorian Freeman scored 10 points.

It was the second half that doomed the Tigers. Terrell took a halftime lead of 18-17 but were outscored 15-6 in the third quarter and 18-8 in the fourth quarter.

Terrell senior Semaj Willis scored two points, Terrell junior Khalid Johnson scored two points, Terrell senior Kenzzell Pipkins scored two points.
