The Terrell High School varsity softball team played Joshua in the bi-district round of the Class 5A playoffs and Joshua won the three-game-series, 2-0, with wins of 16-1 and 15-4 with both games played at Joshua High School on April 26.

Terrell finished the season with an 11-13 overall record and a 6-7-district record.

In game one, Joshua scored seven runs in the first inning and seven runs in the third inning.

Terrell scored one run in the third inning after sophomore Courtney Harrell had a run batted in that brought in freshman Dallas McKinney to score.

Joshua scored two more runs in the fourth inning.

Joshua finished the game with 19 hits while Terrell had three.

McKinney, Harrell and senior Paige Paulson each had one hit for Terrell.

In game two, Joshua scored 11 runs in the first inning and four runs in the second inning.

Terrell scored three runs in the third inning and one run in the fourth inning.
