The Terrell High School varsity football team had 10 players recognized on the 2018 8-5A all-district selections.
Terrell freshman Keithian Alexander was named defensive newcomer of the year. Alexander was sixth on the team in tackles with 44. Alexander also had one sack, one fumble recovery and one caused fumble.
Making first team all-district was junior fullback Jaquavious Morris, senior offensive lineman La’Brandon Owens, junior defensive lineman Khalid Johnson and junior linebacker Jaqwondis Burns.
Morris had 167 yards rushing in the season. Johnson was second on the team in tackles with 50. Burns had 41 tackles this season.
Making second team all-district was senior wide receiver Semaj Willis, junior offensive lineman Malik Griffin and senior free safety J.T. Richardson.
Willis led the team in receiving with 15 receptions and 128 yards. Richardson was fourth on the team in tackles with 46.
Honorable mention all-district was senior quarterback Micah Skinner and senior defensive lineman O.T. Rose. Rose led the team in tackles with 57. Skinner threw for 447 yards and ran for 335 yards.
