He is survived by his mother Mary, a sister Johnny Darlene Smith, two daughters Amanda Hernandez and husband Shawn, Lynn holly Martin and her husband Jared, five grandchildren Joshua, Alexander, Houston, Samuel, and Carter.

Leland (Wes) was an Army Veteran with a loving heart. He was a great son, supportive father, doting grandfather and will be deeply missed.

Leland Wesley Jackson, 59, of Kaufman, passed away on Feb. 9, 2023, was born in Denver, Colorado on July 1, 1963, to Mary N Spencer Churchwell and Johnny S Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny S Jackson, and his stepfather Randal Lee Churchwell.
