Sharon Gail Hennig, age 69, of Quitman, went peacefully to meet the Lord with her loving family by her side on Dec. 4, 2022.

When Sharon opened her eyes in Heaven, she was met by her Lord and Savior along with those that had passed before her including her parents, Violet Elliott Mother, Albert Alexander “Dean” Elliott Father, Grandparents Troy Jacobs Grandfather “Pap”, Celia Jacobs Grandmother “Granny”, Siblings Sandie Webb Sister, Judy Wallace Sister and William “Lee” Elliott Brother.

She leaves to carry on her legacy of unconditional love to her husband of 36 years, Gerald “Jerry” Hennig of Quitman; Her brother Harold Elliott and sister in law Linda of Dike; sister Deana Elliott Boyd and brother in law Bobby of Terrell; Son Robert Allen Davidson and daughter in law Brenda of Quitman; Son Joel Hennig of Seattle, WA and Daughter Molly Condit and spouse Ed of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren: Denise Mejia (Adrian) of Grand Prairie, Steven Davidson (Melissa “Mely”) of Hurst; Autumn Davidson of Wills Point; Amber Carter (Wesley) of Elmo; John Davidson of Whitney; and Katie Davidson of Arkansas; Hanna Condit and Spencer Condit of Green Bay, WI; as well as great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends, all of whom loved Sharon dearly and will greatly miss her.

Sharon loved boating and fishing and left many of us with fond memories on the lake with her! She and Jerry treasure memories from the many cruises they took with family and friends. She also was an enthusiastic Bingo and slot machine player. Her family and friends have treasured quilts made lovingly by her, as she thoroughly enjoyed quilting! The family would appreciate hearing stories from everyone who enjoyed these activities with her! Perhaps her most loved activity was spending time with her family and friends whom she adopted as family.

A celebration of life officiated by Brother Perry Crisp, was held Thursday, Dec. 8 at Goggans Funeral Home, 1911 N Frances, Terrell, TX.

Family visitation was 6-7 p.m. with the memorial service following from 7-8 p.m.
