City schedules annexation public hearings for March 20

ALISON WALKER Public Information Officer, City of Terrell Kaufman County was recently named the fastest growing county in the nation. In order to address the need for roads and for police and public services to keep up with this record growth, City of Terrell officials have initiated annexation proceedings for multiple areas outside of the city limits.

The 42nd Annual Terrell Jubilee presented by the Platinum Collection of dealerships will once again feature a local and state championship BBQ cook-off, arts and crafts vendors, business and health exposition, live music, a variety of food vendors, a carnival, a car show, the Fountain 5K Run/ Walk, CareFlite Tug of War Tournament, Kids Zone, Games of Yesteryear, entertainment, quilt show and more!

The Terrell Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Annual Clay Shoot on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM at Texas Gun Ranch in Terrell. The Terrell Chamber is a non-profit organization and all funds raised go back into supporting local businesses and the community through scholarships and events.

Soccer programs dominate Lancaster

The Terrell Tiger and Lady Tigers soccer programs kept scoreboard operators busy this week, putting together back-to-back dominant performances in easy wins over visiting Lancaster. Terrell’s varsity boys program hit the field first, taking on a Lancaster program also represented by a Tiger mascot.
