Terrell supports Lone Star CASA

Over this past year, the City of Terrell and several local companies have proven to be steadfast partners in creating a brighter future for our community’s most vulnerable children. Lone Star CASA’s mission is to provide a voice for children in Kaufman and Rockwall County who have experienced abuse and neglect by providing them with a trained volunteer advocate to work alongside children and families so they can achieve safety and stability to fulfill their potential.

Elections Department offering equipment demonstrations

The deadline for Texas to register to vote ahead of state and local elections is Tuesday, Oct. 10 for the Nov. 7 election. The Kaufman County Elections Department (KCED) will engage the community and register voters at their office at 3001 S. Washington St. in Kaufman from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Oct. 10.
