Bobbie Mae Roycroft Williamson, passed away to the presence of the Lord on Friday, April 16, 2021 in Terrell, Tx. Bobbie was born October 8, 1928 in Elmo to Robert McKinley and Hazel Mae (Samples) Roycroft, both of whom preceded her in death along with her beloved husband, James M. Williamson, wonderful step-father, L.O. Meador, her son-in-law, Richard Crow, brother, Kenneth Roycroft and sister, Amanda Jane Koets.

Growing up in a small town helped Bobbie to appreciate family and friends, both of which she was surrounded by her whole life. She married the love of her life, James M. Williamson, on June 8, 1946 and together they raised two wonderful children, Judy and Jimmy. After moving to Terrell in 1963, Bobbie and her family joined Emmanuel Baptist Church where she was always an active and dedicated member in the many ministries. She worked in food service at the Terrell State Hospital and Terrell Community Hospital and opened her own beauty shop in the late 60’s where she made great and lasting friendships. She was easy to talk to and could always be counted on to give a sensible bit of advice as well as always seeing the bright side of any situation. As much as Bobbie loved to help others, her real passion was getting the privilege of taking care of, and completely spoiling, her precious grandchildren. Each of her grandchildren had her wrapped around their fingers and the days spent with them were the best days to Bobbie. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting and ceramics and her eye for design and her originality made each of her creations a unique treasure.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Crow; son, Jimmy W. Williamson (Ronnie Wyatt): grandchildren: Jason Scott Williamson, Stephanie Halpin (Will), Shelley Timmer (Mark) and Richard D. Crow, Jr.; great grandchildren: Kalyn Duke (Beau), Shon Paul Armstrong, Madison Williamson, Blake Halpin (Brianne), Mallory Halpin, Blake Wilks (Lauren), Colton Wilks (Lizzie), Hayden Wilks, Leighton Wilks, Kynleigh Crow, Gavin Johnson and Addie Timmer; great-great grandchildren: Braxton Duke, Kason Duke, Myles Halpin, Everly Halpin, Emma Halpin, Paisley Wilks, Tuk Wilks and Aidan Kergosien, as well as numerous nieces nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral service for Bobbie will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Blackjack Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm to service time.

In honor of Bobbie’s love for helping others, her family requests memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1717 N. Frances St. Terrell, Tx 75160. Condolences and memories may be shared with her family at www.maxslaytonfunerals.com.
