Martha Joan Price, better known as Joan to her friends and family, passed away December 30th, 2021, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Born to Mother Ida Davis (Crawford), & Roy Davis on March 3, 1934, Joan was the second child out of six children.

Joan married Troy L. Price May 8, 1954. They had two sons, Troy Scott Price & Gary Dean Price. All three preceded Joan to heaven and were there to welcome her home. She leaves her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchildren to carry on her legacy of loving life.

Joan and Troy owned the Shell Station on 205 in Rockwall for 20+ years and were a large part of the community. Both her sons & family members worked there with them. Joan loved her family more than anything, she would give you her last cent if you needed it. She was the same with strangers. Joan & Troy loved gambling, you could find them at the slots, boats, horse races or Vegas. Her love for Elvis is well known and she went home listening to him singing.

Joan's services were held Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at 2pm, at Crosspoint Church in Terrell, 11987 FM 1392, followed by a graveside service at Highland Memorial Gardens, in Terrell on Hwy 34. The viewing was Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 from 6-8 at Mesquite Funeral Home. Flower Arrangements should go to Mesquite Funeral Home prior to day of service.
