Texas State Senator Bob Hall, right, and Assistant District Director for State Representative Keith Bell, stopped by the museum this week to present BFTS Board of Directors Chairman Bill Hutmacher with a Joint Resolution of the State Legislature that recognizes his recent honor. King Charles III recently awarded Bill the British Empire Medal for “his positive impact in local communities through charitable efforts” for his service to the No.1 British Flying Training School Museum in Terrell. The Joint Resolution describes his “instrumental role in preserving an important part of the shared history of the United States and the United Kingdom.” Senator Hall’s district director, Chris Morris, accompanied the group.
