1948-2024

Bernard (“Barney”) Leo Simmons, Jr., Terrell, passed away peacefully at 1:29 p.m. on June 7, 2024. He was surrounded by family and his rescue dog, Dancer. There were so many angels and so much love in the room as he rode that old BSA motorcycle to Heaven. There to meet him were his beloved family and friends gone before.

He is survived by his wife, Trana Simmons, his sons Joe Simmons and his wife, Lisa, and Kelly Simmons, plus many more beloved family and friends.

Barney’s memorial service will be held at: Goggans Funeral Home, 1911 North Frances St., Terrell, Texas 75160, on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
