Fire marshal warns of dangerous conditions

Body Kaufman County area fire departments had their hands full June 13, responding to two separate fires that scorched more than 50 acres each. In light of the dangerous conditions, officials stressed the importance of following best practices whenever cutting and baling hay.

Body United Church of God in Christ, located at 901 South Hattie in Terrell, has announced that it will once again host its annual Community Outreach Day June 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Gas prices continue to surge nationwide
