The Terrell FFA Booster Club has announced that it will be hosting its annual fundraising event April 9 at the Able Springs Volunteer Fire Department station located at 30000 FM 429 North in Terrell. Events will kick off at 5 p.m.

A Kaufman County man and his girlfriend have been sentenced to federal prison for fraud violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston today.

The Kaufman County Commissioners Court kept things short and sweet Tuesday morning, breezing through a relatively light agenda in under 20 minutes. The key topic of discussion for members of the court centered on a professional services agreement between Kaufman County and HDR related to local infrastructure improvements.

More than 180 properties in an approximately six mile long, 1,200 feet wide path along the Kaufman County/Henderson County line remain in limbo until the Van Zandt County District Court attends to the case filed between the two counties that disputes which county that stretch of land belongs to.

April 1: The Terrell ISD Winterguard will perform their award-winning programs during a special Friends and Family Performance event at the Terrell High School Athletic Complex beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is free, and show shirts will be available for purchase at $20 each.
