Ellinda Ann Butler, 92, of Terrell, unexpectedly departed this life on March 30, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Colonel Donald R. Butler her brother, Charles Booth of Georgia brother, James Booth of Florida and parents, Margaret & Charles Booth of Kentucky.

She will be missed by her surviving family, including children, Brent, Brian and wife LouAnn, Ann, and former son-in-law Mike; nephews, Kevin and Dan niece, Janene; grandchildren, Trevor, Laurie, Jena and Zack; great grandchildren, Lindsay, Carson, and Jase; as well as extended family and beloved friends.

Ellinda attended school at Theodore Ahrens Trade High School; worked as a professional seamstress, model, makeup artist, and in retail sales. She and her husband were active in volunteer service groups and supporting their children through numerous sports and horse related activities. She was an accomplished bridge player and artist.

Ellinda found joy in travelling, painting, gardening, her pets, birdwatching, reading, cruising, church and entertaining. Ellinda was a loving soul who enjoyed life to its fullest. She was cherished by many, never met a stranger and made those around her feel special. Ellinda will be deeply missed and remembered by everyone she touched through her journey in this life.

A visitation was held Thursday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Florida with interment following at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
