Funeral services for Vicki Ann Almon were held Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment followed in the Veteran’s section of Rose Hill Cemetery next to her husband Paul.

Vicki was born on Sept. 18, 1951, in Waxahachie, Tx. to Harvey Edgar and Myrtis (Glover) Crittenden. She passed this life on Nov. 28, 2021, in Sherman, Tx.

Vicki married Paul Almon on Sept. 14, 1979, in Ardmore, Ok.

Vicki received a bachelor’s degree in education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She worked for many years at Sunshine Industries where she oversaw their contract with the City of Ardmore to run the city cemeteries. She had worked as a teacher at Lincoln and Franklin Elementary Schools in the Ardmore School System.

She loved spending time with all her family in East Tx., (Terrell) over her lifetime. There was nothing she loved more than her God, her kids, and her grandkids.

Pallbearers will be Jerren Almon and Jaxen Almon, Matt Vickery, Steve Spurlock, Clint Spurlock and Doug Schmitz.

She is survived by her mother, Myrtis Crittenden of Terrell, Tx.; Mother-in-law, Betty Almon of Ardmore; sister-in-law, Rosetta Almon, Pauls Valley; son, Jerren Almon and his wife Christa of Ardmore; daughters, Meredith Vickery and Matt of West Monroe, LA., and Monica Caldwell of Ardmore, brother, Dudley Crittenton of Petersburg, Tx.; grandchildren, Kylie Dudley and her husband Greyson of Tulsa, Jaxen and Kreiden Almon, Marlee Taylor, Brynlee and Rowdy Caldwell, all of Ardmore, Holland and Baylor Vickery of West Monroe, La.

Vicki was preceded in death by her husband Paul and her father, Harvey Crittenten.
