Traffic along Interstate 20 just west of Farm-to-Market 429 was brought to a halt Aug. 28 following a three-vehicle accident that ultimately resulted in multiple people being airlifted from the scene.

On August 10, 2021 at approximately 4.51 p.m. an unidentified white male committed a theft at 701 W. Moore Ave. This subject appears to be in his late 20s to mid 30s, has a heavy build and full beard. The subject also has a distinct tattoo on the back of his upper left arm. The tattoo is in the shape of a vertical rectangle. At the time of the theft the subject was possibly driving a white 1997-2008 Buick Regal or Buick Century with chrome wheels or hubcaps, with the exception of the left front wheel which was black. The Terrell City Council gave unanimous approval to a senior tax freeze at its Aug. 31 meeting at Terrell Police Headquarters.
