Rising temperatures and the month of June signal the arrival of the dog days of summer. With heat-related illnesses on the rise, Texas State Parks is sharing seven tips to help Texans beat the heat and enjoy their time in the outdoors safely.

FEMA urges fraud awareness after storms

Survivors should be aware that con artists and criminals may try to obtain money or steal personal information through fraud or identity theft after a disaster. In some cases, thieves try to apply for FEMA assistance using names, addresses and Social Security numbers they have stolen from survivors.

Terrell hosting multiple athletic summer camps

The Terrell ISD Athletic Department is set to host numerous youth athletic camps during the summer months. After opening their summer with a Tiger baseball camp in late June, basketball, volleyball, golf and football are on the horizon for young Tigers in-training.
