For the past several months, my friends, Jeff Rice, Larry Weishuhn, and I looked forward to our annual trip to Lake Texoma to catch topwater stripers with Bill and Chris Carey’s Striper Express Guide Service.

Terrell ISD Special Olympics students were treated to their annual fun-filled day at Film Alley complete with pizza, bowling and arcade games on May 15. The celebration was even sweeter as students who have participated in Special Olympics at Terrell High School for two years received their wellearned letterman jackets.

Rick Carmona begins third term as mayor

Rick Carmona was offi cially sworn in for his third and final term as mayor of the City of Terrell during their regular city council meeting on Tuesday, May 13. “I’m honored to serve my third and fi nal term as mayor of the City of Terrell,” Carmona began. “I really appreciate all the support that the community has given me and my family.” Mayor Carmona then presented a proclamation to Terrell Police Chief Arley Sansom and offi cers from the Terrell Police Department for National Police Week for the week of May 1-17.
