editor@terrelltribune.com Terrell ISD’s Back to School Bash is set for Tuesday, July 29. The event will take place at the ExCEL Center, located at 1251 Colquitt Road, on Tuesday night from 5-7 p.m.

Three Forney ISD students were awarded the Lone Star FFA Degree at the 97th annual Texas FFA State Convention held in Austin June 30-July 4. Baylee Sneed and Madelyn Wylie, students at Forney High School, and Jannah Pfranger, a student at North Forney High School, were one of more than 2,600 FFA members to receive the degree.

1946-2025 Maxcine Ruby Miller, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning the 30th of June 2025 in Terrell, Texas. She was surrounded by her family and many friends as she moved on to her great reward.

editor@terrelltribune.com One person is still in critical condition after a wreck that killed five people just outside Terrell on Interstate 20 on June 28. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Alexis Gonzalez-Companioni fell asleep at the wheel, causing his semitruck to plow into stopped traffic on the highway, causing a chain reaction.
