The Terrell Tigers boys’varsity soccer team went 2-0 with two wins over the Kaufman Lions and Midlothian Heritage Jaguars. The Tigers demolished the Lions on Friday, Feb. 6 in an 8-0 victory before defeating Midlothian, 2-1, on Feb. 10.

Currently serving in the 89th Legislature, Texas Senator Bob Hall represents Senate District 2 and serves as Chairman of the vital Senate Committee on Administration. He is also an influential voting member of the Senate Committees on Finance, Health and Human Services, State Affairs, and Veteran Affairs.

The Boys to Men breakfast is designed to bring together 200 men from the Terrell community to have breakfast and fellowship with Terrell’s sixth-grade scholars.

A fun event for the community, the repair shop invites children to bring their favorite stuffed animals for a special check-up with the Health Occupation students.

Carson McCreary, a 4-H member of Kaufman County 4-H from Terrell, was awarded a $500 Calf Scramble purchase certificate at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. During each of the Stock Show’s 23 rodeo performances, 20 students compete to catch one of 10 calves for the opportunity to earn a $500 heifer purchase certificate. Students who successfully complete the Calf Scramble and exhibit their heifer at the 2027 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo are then eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $500 to $16,000.

After 17 years of incredible service, Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) announces the retirement of Child Advocacy Specialist Chris Hoffmeyer. The organization is proud to celebrate Chris’s outstanding contributions, dedication, skill, and compassion in service to children and families in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties.
