editor@terrelltribune.com A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday, March 1 according to the Terrell Police Department. At approximately 1:10 p.m., Terrell PD received numerous calls reporting that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 600 block of E.

Tigers baseball, softball go scoreless in losses

The Terrell Tigers varsity baseball team was shutout by the Melissa Cardinals on the road on Saturday, March 1. The Terrell Lady Tigers were also shutout in their loss to the Red Oak Lady Hawks in their most recent contest.

Terrell FFA honors graduating seniors

Terrell Future Farmers of America honored their graduating seniors at their county show over the past weekend. The team held a memorable farewell ceremony where seniors did their last walk around the arena, signifying the end of their show year. Graduating seniors include Cheyanne Chanthaseng, Hannah Daws, Penelope Malone, Kendall Lopez, Anahi Duran and Casey Stewart.

Terrell EDC receives Economic Excellence Recognition

The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) announced the recipients of its annual Economic Excellence Recognition program for 2024, including the Terrell Economic Development Corporation. The awards were presented on Friday, Feb. 28, during the TEDC’s 2025 Winter Conference in Austin.
