I’ve lived and raised my family in Kaufman County since 2000 and have practiced in our county and the County Court at Law this entire time. I have a firm grasp of this court’s areas of law, practicing both criminal and family law. I have participated in approximately 100 criminal jury trials ranging from DWI to capital murder, combined with literally thousands of family law cases including Child Protective Services. I also have a firm grasp of future challenges for this court and county as we grow.

City of Terrell receives sizeable TPWD grant

Terrell City Mayor Rick Carmona spoke at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission meeting Jan. 25 at headquarters in Austin. The City of Terrell was awarded a $750,000 grant to construct a half-mile, lighted waling trail at Kings Creek Park.
