Deadline for primary voting approaches Feb. 5

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson reminds Texans that the deadline to register or update your registration in time for the primary election is Monday, February 5. “If you haven’t registered to vote in Texas or you need to update your registration, act quickly to be ready for the March 5 Primary,” said Secretary Nelson.

GoldStar Transit, an industry leader in student transportation, safety, and fleet services, is pleased to announce that one of its dedicated bus drivers, Virginia Parker, has been recognized by the Terrell Independent School District (ISD) as “District Bus Driver of the Month.” Parker was recognized during the Jan. 18 board meeting for her support and dedication to the Terrell ISD district, the students and the local community.
