P�������� ���������������� ���� T������������ ISD The Terrell Tiger Band and Colorguard made its way to Mesquite last week, competing in the annual Mesquite Marching Contest. Terrell returned with plenty of accolades for their efforts at the event, with the Colorguard winning first place overall in the 4A classification and the Tiger Band finishing second overall in the 4A classification.

Commissioners review fi re marshal’s role, duties

The Kaufman County Commissioners Court met for more than two hours on Tuesday morning, discussing a wide range of topics including monthly bookkeeping items as well as a propos-al to “implement a structure of a county fire marshal and deputy fire marshal and to move the office of the fire marshal into the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.”

The Terrell Tigers kept their foot firmly pressed on the accelerator last week, opening up District 7-4A play with a 68-0 demolition of the visiting Carrollton Ranchview Wolves Sept. 24.

Runners compete at Mustang Stampede

Members of the Terrell cross country program made their way to Waxahachie last week, competing against some of the top programs in the area at the 2nd annual Mustang Stampede. Terrell fared well overall, placing sixth the varsity girls division and seventh in the varsity boys division out of 12 competing schools.
