In regard to COVID-19 vaccinations, the message coming out of Terrell city hall this week is that it’s never been easier to get vaccinated in Kaufman County. As of Tuesday, the Terrell Fire Department had administered roughly 29,000 COVID-19 vaccines, according to Dustin Connor, the city’s coordinator for Emergency Management.

The Kaufman County Commissioners Court on Tuesday awarded a consulting bid to HOK, an engineering and architecture company that will advise the county on possible construction of a new juvenile detention center.

KAUFMAN – Construction is under way on a $37 million promise made to voters in 2019. Excavation equipment is scraping earth to clear way for the Kaufman County Justice Center.
