For efforts that went above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic, Schrildea Glover, a fifthgrade teacher at Gilbert Willie Sr. Elementary School, was recently named a Ford Freedom Unsung Teacher Hero of COVID-19.

Glover was one of only 25 teachers nationwide to receive the award.
