Big crowds flock to Jubilee

Body The Terrell Jubilee came back stronger than ever last week after COVID-19 KO’d the event a year ago. The festival’s 40th edition featured massive weekend crowds, brisk sales by vendors and fun by the boatload.

Juvenile detention center bid OK’d

Body The Kaufman County Commissioners Court on Tuesday awarded a consulting bid to HOK, an engineering and architecture company that will advise the county on possible construction of a new juvenile detention center.
