Terrell PD implements new obstacle course

Body
The Terrell Police Department recently opted to change the entry-level police physical agility. Terrell PD is a Chapter 143 Local Government Code agency with a bulk of state procedures, which govern many operations of policing. One of those requirements is entry-level examinations, both written and physical. In August of 2024 Interim Chief of Police Arley D. Sansom and Fire Chief Shane LeCroy brought forth a revised Terrell Civil Service Local Rules before the Civil Service Commission. One of the many changes to these local rules, adopted and approved by the commission, was replacement of the existing entry-level physical agility test for police.
