A year in the Valley of Champions

Trinity Valley Community College has grown into the home of champions. Whether it’s celebrating the TVCC Cardettes winning the National Open Pom Division, the Large Coed Cheer team placing first, or Student Government Association being named Chapter of the Year for the 17th time in the program’s history, TVCC is consistently celebrating its students.

WILDLIFE CLOSE TO HOME

For the past quarter-century, we have lived on a few acres in an area comprised of five to 10 acre tracts. The perimeter of two sides of the property has a wooded strip about 40 yards wide adjacent to neighbor’s property that is also wooded that connects to much larger tracts and ultimately thousands of acres of ranchland.

Terrell golf team takes first in final tournament

The Terrell Tigers golf team of Kayden, Jesus, Dax and Gray took first place in their last tournament of the 2024 season. Jesus took first individually with a score of 70 (-2) and Kayden takes home second place individually with a score of 72.

Hambric named State provisional qualifier

Terrell High School senior athlete Marquel Hambric has completed a decorated track and field career at Terrell High School. He is a State provisional qualifier placing third in high jump during the UIL 5A Region 2 track meet at The University of Texas Arlington.

Pirates sink Tigers, Lady Tigers

The Tigers and Lady Tigers baseball and softball squads had a tough week in district play against the Crandall Pirates. On April 2, the Lady Tigers pitching was pushed around as they allowed 14 total runs to the Pirates as Terrell managed just one run across the plate in a 14-1 home loss.
