The Terrell Independent School District has hired Adam Toy as its new high school principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Toy joins the district from Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, where he has served as the principal for DeWitt Perry Middle School since 2017.

Mayor Rick Carmona proclaimed Tuesday, May 11 as City of Terrell Police Officer Recognition Day and called upon citizens to thank the city’s men and women in blue. Here he presents the proclamation to Terrell Police Chief Ken McKeown. The proclamation was made in association with National Police Week, in which the contributions and sacrifices of the police officers in service to their communities is recognized. He purchased this honor during the Terrell Chamber of Commerce’s Civic Auction last year.
